The Band

Austin Zarnick

Bass Guitar. Vocals.

Austin’s Rock and Roll tastes tend toward the more progressive side, but he has an eclectic musical palate, with influences beginning with Queen and stretching all the way to King Crimson. He has favorites in the middle, like ELO and the progressive rock bands Yes and Alan Parsons.

He is currently taking vocal lessons weekly with a goal to extend his upper vocal range. He continues playing his upright bass with the school orchestra and acoustic bass for fun.

Professionally he performs with a Fender American Ultra Precision Bass with a rosewood fretboard for those warm rumbles. He compliments it with the American company Gallien Krueger Bass Amp and cabs.

Jesse Mark

Lead Guitar. Lead Vocals. Lyrics.

Jason Brahler

Drums. Backing Vocals. Lyrics.

Jason has been playing drums since he’s been 10 years old. He fell in love with the instrument thanks to the drumming of Liberty DeVitto on Billy Joel’s, “Angry Young Man” from the album Turnstiles.

Jason is into Led Zeppelin, Beach Boys, and the Doors. His favorite live shows include Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, Boston and Styx. Seeing these bands in concert has influenced him heavily. He says, “Watching the way those drummers all moved and how they all interact with the band was just so interesting”.

His two favorite places to play as a band was the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and The Crafthouse Stage and Grill in Pittsburgh.

He plays Pearl Acrylic and Tama Drums with Remo heads, Meinl cymbals and Vic Firth 5b sticks.
