You can now listen to the audio of our new song, ‘Along The Way’! This is an original song that we wrote and recorded as part of the 2019 WYEP Reimagination Project. Special thanks to Matt Muckle, our music producer and to Dana Cannone at The Church Recording Studio for everything! And of course, thank you Abby Goldstein and the staff at WYEP-FM for allowing us to be a part of this amazing project!

BREAKING Band News!

trevoltashadow

We made an official announcement this past Saturday at our Reimagination CD Release Party in Pittsburgh that our band is changing its name! For over three years, we were known as ‘This Is The World’, and now we are ‘Trevolta‘!

We wanted our name and our logo to reflect a past era of Rock & Roll. Trevolta is definitely reminiscent of the 70’s, but we put our own twist on the spelling. We used 70’s style font and colors to remind our fans of our musical influences from that era. The general shape of the logo represents the bass and lead guitars, incorporating the blue circle to represent the top of a drum head, the three instruments that comprise the band. The ‘TRE’ part of the name and the three stripes are representative of the three members of the band, Jason Brahler, Austin Zarnick and Jesse Ort.

Reimagination Project Photo Shoot

Very exciting stuff! Rumor has it (from our producer Matt Muckle!) that the song we recorded for the WYEP Reimagination Project is being mixed this week! The CD will be released in May and will feature one of our very own songs, along with original tunes by some other talented young local musicians.

The radio station asked for some updated photos of This Is The World, and so we spent a few hours in Lawrenceville at Kickback Pinball Cafe eating lunch, playing pinball and grabbing a few photos for the promotional items for the Reimagination Project. Kickback was a fantastic place! The staff was very accommodating and the food was fantastic! Take a special trip to Lawrenceville and check them out sometime!
